El Arca de los Niños (The Kid's Ark) Children's Home is an orphanage located 45 miles driving east from Tegucigalpa to Potrerillos, Honduras in a village called Agua Blanca in the departamento (state) of El Paraiso.  The picturesque hour long drive takes you through the Pan American Highway directly to this wonderful land. This will be the future home for many children.

There are approximately 200,547* orphans in Honduras. Many of these children have been orphaned due to death, violence or abandonment.  With numbers like those the need to establish and build a children's home became imperative.  The Lord put in our hearts the love for these children.

El Arca de los Niños was established with the goal of giving a home to 98 children in the near future.  Thirty three acres located in the mountains of  El Paraiso were purchased and the first of three phases of construction has started.  

Our Vision - To develop leaders, exemplary girls and boys, with character, principles and biblical values.

Our Mission - To raise the children we care for through three main components: Faith, Family, and Future.

Through faith we can give the children the hope and encouragement they need as they face life.

Through our family setting, we love the kids, demonstrating them how healthy families work.

With a focus in the future, we work to give the children the education they need as they prepare to start their lives on their own.
